In the past, people let their dogs run loose all day log and nobody thought twice about it. Today, a rule would be considered broken if one did such a crazy thing!

Tons of Americans view it on television every day; the TV court shows that many people in our society get a kick out of. The cases seem to be repetitive and one common type of case is regarding dog attacks. Either the dog got hurt or someone else did and who do you think often gets the blame and loses the case? The owner, because the dog was not properly tied up or under the owners authority!

Dog owners can only win these kind of cases when the dog was accidentally released or another dog was in on it and instigated the trouble.

It's a hidden cost of being a dog owner, and it's why leash and obedience training is so important.

Unfortunately this is a common occurrence in today's world. If you don't have full authority over your dog, you can be affected by the most negative outcome possible.

Although you may have to spend extra money, it is best to keep your dog in extra restraint. Using a cord cable leash as well as some sort of fencing or encasing will keep both you and your dog safest.

I remember one case where a small boy was bit by a dog and the dog's owners had no liability. The dog was on a line and inside a fence. The boy climbed the fence and taunted the dog (a Chow Chow). As soon as the parents determined the dog's shots were up to date they accepted full responsibility for their son.

Sadly, there aren't many examples like the one above where an owner took the time and effort to keep everybody safe.
